Reckless
Rachel's
seemingly perfect life is upended one Christmas Eve when her husband Tom
announces he has taken a contract out on her life.
Rachel
escapes and is rescued by social worker Lloyd, who brings her home to his deaf,
mute, paraplegic wife Pooty. Rachel moves in with
the
couple but the trio's tranquil existence dissolves the following Christmas, and
Rachel and Lloyd find themselves on a cross-country odyssey
of
self-discovery. Rachel ultimately finds
herself in a homeless shelter run by Sister Margaret, who has her own share of
dark secrets.
This
very dark comedy is written by celebrated playwright Craig Lucas.

Die, Mommie, Die!
From the hilariously twisted mind of Charles Busch comes this
comic melodrama. Inspired by the 1960’s
“grande guignol” films that
featured
aging stars such as Bette Davis, Joan Crawford and Lana Turner, former singer
Angela Arden is trapped in a hateful marriage with film
producer
Sol Sussman. Desperate to find happiness
with her younger lover, Angela murders her husband with the aid of a poisoned
suppository.
Angela’s
daughter Edith convinces her emotionally disturbed brother that they must
avenge their father’s death by killing their mother.
