Sean Michael O’Donnell was the founder and Artistic Director of the original Olde Bank Theatre.  He has directed over twenty plays, including For Whom The Southern Belle Tolls, Romeo & Juliet, The Crucible, Electra, Three Sisters, Hedda Gabler, and Macbeth.  Sean has written more than a dozen plays, which have been produced throughout Pittsburgh and in New York City.  Several of his plays have appeared as part of the Pittsburgh New Works Festival, including The Butter Bin, which was named Best New Play at the 1997 Festival.  His critically acclaimed play MacBush played for several weeks off-off-Broadway in New York City.  Sean recently finished work on an adaptation of the Daniel Defoe novel Moll Flanders and on a political drama entitled Hate/Terror/Fear.  He worked as a theatre critic for Show Business Weekly and offoffonline.com in Manhattan prior to moving back to the Pittsburgh area. 

 

Todd Collar co-founded and served as the Assistant Artistic Director to the original Olde Bank Theatre.  A graduate of IUP and Slippery Rock University, Todd has a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre.  Todd has directed numerous shows, including On The Verge, The Mousetrap, The Accidental Intentional Death of Miss Connie Jones, Arsenic & Old Lace, and A Doll House.  Having dealt in antiques since high school, Todd brings his unique perspective to the stage via innovative set designs and authentic properties. 

 

Vincent Chelkowski returns as webmaster for The New Olde Bank Theatre in addition to managing front-of-house operations.  He has appeared onstage, most notably as George Tesman in Hedda Gabler and has offered assistance behind the  scenes with sets, props, and music.  Vince previously taught dance and has done work in choreography.  He has sung with the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale and performed with Variations in several venues, including New York City’s Sony Plaza.  After working at the Central Park Zoo for several years, Vince has returned home to the Pittsburgh area.  He recently completed work on SOUL, a musical retelling of two classic Greek myths. 

 

Daniel O’Donnell has been married for a very, very long time to his wife Linda and is the father of sons Kerry and Sean, and daughter Casey. He is a published playwright and for the past fifteen years has been the drama director at Freeport Junior High School. Daniel has written and directed some thirty plays which have been produced at the school and at local theatres.  He currently has five plays in publication, including the 2005 Shubert Fendrich Memorial Playwriting Contest Award winner Murder By Indecision.  Daniel serves as director, playwright, and all-around handyman for The New Olde Bank Theatre.
